In my practice

I am always learning.

My My grandmother gifted me the book Swamplands of the Soul by James Hollis back in 2010. On the front cover, she inscribed, “You embark upon inner travels that are the balancing act for the outer. One adventure leads to the other, offering wonders to the seeker and keeping one’s life in balance. Answers lead to questions. Life is the circus; we are the clowns.”

These words have never lost their meaning for me,, and I want to offer them as part of my foundation upon which I move—within my practice and without. I won’t meet you from a fantastical destination called healed. I am strongly oriented toward the process, the curious, the ineffable, and what is life-affirming. I value the tears, the laughter, the silence, and the uproar in equal measure.
